Motives Of the USA
- The Untied States was represented at the Paris Peace conference by their president, Woodrow Wilson.
- His contribution to the content of the meetings was in the form of Wilson's famous 14 points. - The main theme of the points was a plan for a "just and lasting" peace. -A point of conflict between Wilson and the other members of the Big Three was his wish to rebuild Germany on a Democratic template. The other leaders were hostile to Wilson's generosity when dealing with the fate of Germany after the war. -He also wanted to recognize the smaller nations within countries that deserved to determine their own political destinies and actions. This effort fell under the banner of "Self - Determination". |
Subjunctive Question: How would the outcomes of the Paris Peace treaty have been different if America never joined the war?
