November Revolution
- The Kronstadt Mutiny was a revolt was a central event in the Russian Revolution. It came about by 20,000 armed soldiers taking control of Petrograd and demanding a Soviet take over.
- Without any violence, the Bolsheviks were given complete control during the Kornilov affair.
- Under soviet power, the Communist ideal was represented in Russia by the Bolsheviks and the Mensheviks. The former believed that Communism could take place effectively under the control of a leader, the latter were opposed to this, and ended up walking out of the Second Congress of the Soviets.
