The New Deal

- To be done in the first 100 days of Roosevelt's administration.
- Following the Economics of John Maynard Keynes. Keynes' economic theory was based on the idea that the spending of money is integral to the making of money; slight debt is a healthy sign because it will return in the form of income tax.
- Some projects were: Interstate highways, and the Hoover dam.

Subjunctive Question: We don;t have the benefit of seeing how the course of the depression would have played out without the intervention of government, for history has only been recorded to show what happened after government intervened. What would America have looked like if the New Deal was never struck between the people and the government?
